This is one of my favorite topics! It’s one of the places where I feel I can offer my clients the most opportunity for growth. And it’s where I’ve developed the most, myself, in the last few years.

Mindset is all about the ways you interact with the world and the people around you every day. Are you generally happy? Curious? Calm? Or are you grumpy? Judgemental? Anxious? Our thoughts drive much of how we show up.
I used to think mindset was the same as willpower. I thought it was about a bullish, stubborn drive to do something. But I’ve learned it’s really quite different. Your mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you make sense of the world and yourself. It influences how you think, feel, and act in any given situation. The constantly-developing world of psychology has shown that our brains are highly malleable, no matter our age. And your mind is one of the strongest assets you have. Harness it!
Often when we set about to do something, whether that’s complete a task, make progress towards a goal, or interact with someone else, we start with the checklist of to do’s. But I’ve seen time-and-time-again, that beginning with a mindset check is a powerful way to get started.
This month we’ll explore several of the biggest mindset mistakes. And then I’ll share some tools for managing your mindset.
