I get it because I've been there.
I wanted to show up for my children like my Mom, who was a stay-at-home Mom. And I wanted to continue to serve the patients and mission of the healthcare organization where I was Chief Financial Officer. To do that, I had to learn to juggle my career, my mom role, and my husband’s pilot schedule.
I did "all the things": special work projects, career promotions, volunteer roles, kid activities, field trips, and oh-so-many crafts. I had joy with my family and pride in my career. But I also held myself to an unreasonable standard. And that sometimes showed up as lack of presence or exhaustion.
I knew there had to be a better way! And you know what it wasn't about? Doing more or being more. When I started leveling up my habits and mindset (though I pushed back on this part), my career took off and things fell in place at home.
I believe that having it all is entirely possible.
I love helping others define what "all" means to them and go after it! My role is to light the path alongside of them.
